| Pressure through Spring '07, Coalition eventually to capsize |
by Andrew J. Bevan, QHP, DMS Astrol. (c) Feb.22.2007, update April 29.2007
Union leader in trouble
| With the pressure of the partial solar eclipse of March 19.2007 on the build, Prime minister Jens Stoltenberg gets feathers ruffled in the turmoil surrounding one of his most important collaborates, the union leader Gerd-Liv Valla. Valla controversy regarding her leadership style and a bitter conflict with Ingvild Yssen, concludes in union leader departing from her post. The 2nd government of Stoltenberg survives Spring '07 but not without warning tremors within one of the coalition's legs, the Social Liberals. |
SV eventually to leave coalition, AP & SP to hobble on
| On Sep 29.2005 Andrew Bevan predicted for the Norwegian financial website Hegnar Online that the newly formed Norwegian coalition government (Oct.17.2005), lead by PM Jens Stoltenberg AP (Labor), would end in collapse. "The annual eclipse of Oct.3.2005 in Libra and close the fixed star Vindemiatrix makes it difficult for the parties to participate within the coalition on equal terms and the coalition will either strand or capsize." Essentially, this means that the coalition between AP (Labor), SV (Social Liberal Party) and SP (Center Party) does not survive its 4-year period due to the imposing compromises that make it impossible for the coalition to endure. Eventually Stoltenberg will experience his coalition sliced as Social Liberals are due to leave the coalition. The most likely option is Labor and Center Party hobbling on in minority. |
Annual eclipse Oct 3. 2005, Oslo
| The results of the 2005
election provided a political majority for the parties AP
(Labor),
SV (Social Liberal Party) and SP (Center) - and a coalition
government between the parties could be formed, headed by the leader
of the larger party, AP, Jens Stoltenberg, if a political platform could
be agreed upon. It was this political platform that was negotiated
during the build-up to the solar eclipse of Oct 3. The SP (Center) had
in the previous period sat in a minority coalition lead by Kjell
Magne Bondevik (Krf), composed of Krf (Christian Democrats), SP
(Center) and V (Liberals).
In spite of severe political differences in issues of major political importance, particularly on matters of energy, membership in European Union and environmental issues, the three party leaders Jens Stoltenberg AP (Labor), Kristin Halvorsen SV (Socialist Liberals) and Aaslaug Haga SP (Center Party) managed to reach a political agreement, and on Oct. 17.2005 Jens Stoltenberg's 2nd Government entered office - the same day as a lunar eclipse!! With the partial solar eclipse of March 19. 2005, Jens Stoltenberg is likely to have his wings clipped. Although the effects of an eclipse may cast its shadow either forwards or backwards in time, the Prime Minister is going to have a harsh time holding his coalition together through the Spring of 2007. The eclipse of March 19. at 28PI07, three days after the Prime Minister's 48th birthday, performs a hard angle with sensitive points in the Prime Ministers nativity and the vulnerability of the coalition is likely to be exposed. |
Partial solar eclipse of March 19. 2007, Oslo
| The structure of the mosaic
formed by the solar placements of the party leaders Stoltenberg,
Halvorsen and Haga reveal a coalition between the signs Pisces, Virgo
and Libra. Considering this particular coalition the placement of
the Sun in Pisces in the chart of the Prime Minister tells something
about the complexity of it all. While there is no dispute to
Stoltenberg's natural leadership of this coalition, maybe Pisces at top
shows weakness. Pisces shows a collaboration of natural opposites. This
collaboration is much like the outer walls of a house, pointing in
opposite directions, and about to come apart.
The SV (Social Liberals) are likely to throw in the towel. Their party leader, Kristin Halvorson, is a Virgo with her Sun in the opposite sign to Stoltenberg in Pisces. As a matter of fact, Halvorsen's birthday is Sep 2.1960, in comparison with Stoltenberg's previous political opposition, Kjell Magne Bondevik, born Sep 3.1947. The lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 3. 2007 is likely to stress Halvorsen's role and position, and the party leader's 'Sunrise Age Point' is ready to change sign and enter Scorpio in April 2007.
Weak alliance between AP (Labour) and SP (Centre) My understanding of the situation at present is that a coalition between the AP (Labor Party) and the SP (Center Party) will endure and be able to hobble on for the mean time, however, this configuration is ever so vulnerable. Pisces and Libra are signs that 'see each other' and are on an equal parallel in relation to the ecliptic, but they equally inconjunct each other by aspect and they will strive to keep a balance between the inner and outer worlds. Looking ahead, the vulnerability and complexity of the Norwegian democracy is apt to continue for years to come, much due to the number of political parties listed in Norway and no single party sitting in majority. The way things are heading I have little doubt regarding a constitutional crises that will come to surface in the years 2020-21 in conjunction with severe challenges to political navigation and the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn. Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) is currently Norway's second largest party and while there is presently no political consensus to cooperate and form a government with the Frp, this political constellation should not be out ruled for the future. Their party leader, Siv Jensen, is born Gemini and this might make possible a fundamentally stronger coalition some time in the future, unless the mosaics of Norwegian politics changes drastically in the years to come. |
